On May 28th, the first stage of the children's athletics competition Altay Kids Cup among pupils of schools in Ridder was held. These competitions are organized according to the European model of children's and youth competitions in Switzerland UBS Kids Cup, where children compete in three disciplines: running 60 m, throwing a ball of 200 g and a long jump with an extended zone of repulsion.

It is worth noting that the UBS Kids Cup is organized by the partners of the Club the VfG /LC Zurich  and they are the most popular children's sports competitions in Europe.

The main tasks of these competitions are the development of children's sports, the popularization of athletics and the involvement of children in mass sports, in particular on the territory of East Kazakhstan region.

The first stage of the competition was held in one day. After the solemn opening parade, at which the anthem of the Republic of Kazakhstan was sounded, the officials spoke with a welcoming speech. In general, the competitions were very emotional.

We would like to separately express our gratitude to the Head of the Culture and Sports Department Mironenko Natalia Petrovna and the Chief Judge of the competitions - Andrey Vadimovich Leimenov, with the support of which the work of the judges and the organizers of the competitions was smooth and clear, which allowed the event to be held on schedule.

At the end of the first stage, the winners and prize-winners were awarded memorable medals and diplomas.

The number of children participated - moren than 220.
