Already the 10th Meeting out of total 14 of the DIamond League Meetings was held in Monaco on past 20th of July.

Norah Jeruto and Daisy Jepkemei performed in the Meeting's discipline 3000 meters steeplechase.

Norah Jeruto became the fifth (9: 07.20), Daisy Jepkemei finished eighth - 9:10.71.

At the moment, Norah Jeruto is on the 4th line of Diamond Champion Qualifiers with 15 points, while Daisy Jepkemei is on the seventh with 11 points. On the first line is Hyvin Kiyeng with 28 points.

This race was remarkable for the fact that the Kenyan track and field athlete Beatrice Chepkoech has set a new world record for discipline - 8:44.32. The previous world record was 8.52.78, established in 2016 by an athlete from Bahrain Ruth Jebet.

Second place in the competition in this discipline was won by the Silver Prizewinner of the 2017 World Cup in the discipline of 3000 m steeplechase and Olympic participant 2016 Courtney Frerichs (9.00.85), the third was the bronze medalist of the 2017 World Championships, Hyvin Kiyeng (9.04.41).
