Caroline Kipkirui performed at the elite race in India in Bangalore World 10K Bengaluru, held on May 27. Caroline finished third with a result of 31:28. This race has been held since 2008, and has the status of IAAF Road Race Gold Lable. This year, world elite athletes took part, so the first place among women was taken by the world champion in cross-country race Agnes Tirop, and the second place was taken by the Ethiopian athlete Senber Teferi.
